Do you have any previous staffing experience?

In 2021, I co-owned a small competitive Skyblock server called BountyMC. We lasted for two seasons and typically had around 15 to 20 players online daily. It wasn’t a huge server but we built a community. We ended up shutting it down when university schedules kicked back in as the pandemic eased. As co-owner, I focused on setting everything up and making sure the server ran smoothly, while my partner handled the funding and bought the plugins. Looking back, I’d rate my work as about an 8 out of 10 for the effort I put in and the impact we had.

I was also a manager for Render Network back in 2019. This was another small casual Skyblock server that ran for six months with around 10-15 daily players. After six months, it ended as the owner lost interest. My job there involved setting up everything from the discord to server configurations.

Why do you want to become staff on ExodusMC?

I recently got back into Minecraft and found ExodusMC on BuiltbyBit. After trying it out, I found the server to be really enjoyable. It has a lot to offer, and as I played I noticed a few areas where players could use a bit more support. As a new player myself, I had a lot of questions about gameplay and mechanics that I had to ask on Discord. I’d like to be here to help other new and existing players so they can enjoy everything the server has to offer without any confusion. Even if I can’t fix bugs directly, I’ll help spot them so they get resolved.

What 3 skills do you believe you have that would assist you while being staff on ExodusMC?

1. Community Support – I enjoy helping players and make them feel welcome and comfortable on the server. I am easy to communicate with and will offer help to the best of my ability.
   
   
2. Adaptability – I can adjust to new tasks and challenges quickly. I’m open to learning whatever’s needed and willing to take on any role that will help keep the server running smoothly, whether that’s assisting players or supporting other staff.
   
   
3. Problem-Solving – I’m used to identifying issues, whether it’s spotting bugs or resolving player concerns. Even if I’m not directly fixing problems, I can help spot issues early so they can be addressed quickly.

What are three weaknesses you would like to improve while being staff on ExodusMC?

One weakness I’d like to work on is my confidence with spoken English, specifically in calls due to my accent. I tend to get nervous and quiet. If this is an issue, I’m open to it being a factor in the application.

Are you currently staff on any other servers?

No, I am not.

How much time can you dedicate to the server on a daily/weekly basis?

I can put in between 5 and 12 hours daily, depending on my real-life schedule.

If it helps, I’ve also done some free server configuration work on BuiltbyBit, which I enjoyed and found rewarding. It was short-term, but I helped a few people get their servers set up.
